Email Newsletter Signup Form

If you are creating your MailChimp account for the first time, follow the steps below - otherwise skip to the Create a MailChimp widget section.

  1. Go to login.mailchimp.com/signup.
  2. Type your Email, type a Username and insert a Password.
  3. Verify the email you provided and click "Activate Account".
  4. On the MailChimp page, click on the "I'm Not a Robot" button.
  5. Select your plan and click "Next", then enter your name and site name on the next page. You will also need to add an address – this will be listed below each email you send as the anti-spam protection.
  6. If you previously used another mailing service, you can import your contacts, otherwise select "No". Click "Continue".
  7. When the account is all set up, you can create your widget.

Create a MailChimp Widget

  1. From your MailChimp dashboard > click the "Create" icon.
  2. Click "Signup Form" and select "Embedded form". Click "Begin" on the right side.
  3. This will send you to the next page > click on the Continue button.
  4. Scroll down the code area and copy the line between quotes starting with <form action=" as highlighted here:
  5. Finally, log into your Blogger dashboard > go to Layout and click "Edit" on the "Signup Form" gadget.
  6. Replace ADD MAILCHIMP LINE HERE with the line you copied on step 4.
