Featured Posts Slider Not Working

The Featured Posts Slider can be used to display several slides on your front page / homepage to feature your content. In case you are experiencing any issues with the Featured Slider widget, here are the most common issues:

1. Blog is set to Private

Log into your Blogger dashboard and go to Settings > check the Reader access under Permissions section. If your blog is set to Private or Custom, then the widget will stop working - the slider relies on the blog's feed to display posts and when the blog is private, the feed is inactive. Once your blog is set to Public, the Featured Posts slider should work again.

2. Feed problem

If your blog is Public, but the slider is still not showing up, go to Settings > Site Feed and make sure that "Allow Blog Feed" is set to Full. If it's not set to Full, the Featured Slider will stop working.

3. Wrong label

If you're not displaying your latest posts and choose to feature posts based on a specific label, double-check if the label written in the code match perfectly the one added to your post. For example, if the label is written as "Fashion", but you added "fashion" in the code, then Blogger will consider it as being different label.
